Creative Rome · Guide 10
From the Pantheon to Piazza Navona: a creative walk.
Walk between the Pantheon, Via della Dogana Vecchia and Piazza Navona, with a creative stop at TAGS and the option to continue to Campo de’ Fiori.

By TAGS Design Studio ·
This walk combines two places to see in Rome with a stop where you can make something. The route is simple: the Pantheon, the Piazza della Rotonda area, TAGS Design Studio at Via della Dogana Vecchia 9, then Piazza Navona. It is a suggestion curated by our studio and designed to suit your pace. It is not a guided tour and does not include admission to monuments.
The TAGS guide
Look, pause, create, keep walking.
Start with the Pantheon
Begin in Piazza della Rotonda and take time to look at the Pantheon’s portico. If you want to visit inside, check entry arrangements on the official website first and make any booking separately. Leave room in the day for the surrounding streets instead of squeezing every stop between two timed appointments.
Head towards Via della Dogana Vecchia
From the Pantheon, orient yourself towards the Piazza Sant’Eustachio area and Via della Dogana Vecchia. Your destination is number 9. Use the map to choose a route from your starting point; paving, crowds and diversions can affect the walk. We do not give a single walking time that would need to suit everyone.
Take a break at the Patch Bar
Step into TAGS and decide whether to make an accessory during your stop. You could use a colour you noticed on the way, compose an initial or create coordinated pieces with a travelling companion. The team helps with the composition and secures the patches. For groups, arrange the visit before you arrive.
Continue to Piazza Navona
Resume your walk towards Piazza Navona and look at it from more than one angle. The square has three fountains: compare their shapes and details instead of stopping after the first photograph. After making something, it can be satisfying to look again. Pick a detail you would like to sketch or record in a travel notebook.
Add Campo de’ Fiori if you feel like it
If you want to keep exploring, consider Campo de’ Fiori as a next stop rather than another compulsory item to tick off. The walk also works if you stop earlier. For visits inside monuments, check the operators’ current information; this guide helps you combine places, but does not replace tickets or reservations.
